Great family friendly campground. It is dog-friendly as it is not in the national park boundary. You can spend a long weekend here fishing, swimming, hiking and relaxing. Read more at: https://www.... Read more

I have never owned a 4x4, I love the Howqua River, my first visit was 1972. And then still go back. I prefer during the week and not school holidays. Such a beautiful part of our country. I steer clear from the high country in bushfire season because when fires occur on the Howqua you have very little chance to exit the area. A week or two after the school holidays is usually good apart and rubbish here and there. People like me generally take home a bag or three. Too many people don’t respect our beautiful country and it’s getting worse. by Martin T.
