free campsite with plenty of spaces big enough for motorhomes, caravans and tents. public toilets on site and a non-potable water tap. surrounded by an easy 30-minute ridge walk around mount franklin

Great spot to go with friends. Gets busy during peak periods though so not great if you like your space

Loved it, honestly. It was quiet and amenities were clean and all one could need. Other campers were respectful as well. The walk was beautiful, all round great. Could have stayed longer!

How many sites are available here? We’ll just have a tent but we’re conscious it’s just after the new year and still during school holidays. We’ll be driving a long way and don’t want to find ourselves with nowhere to camp. Thanks
