Beautifully peaceful, nice 45min round walk to the crest of the crater, standard pit toilets, fire pits and nice grassy areas for camping, plenty of spots on a first come first served basis

Yes you can stay overnight and take liquor. If you go during a weekend you just need to be there early as the best spots fill up quickly by Stephen B.

I have never been to Firth park so I cannot comment on that. We have found my Franklin great because of the close proximity to Hepburn springs and Daylesford. We have always enjoyed our stay there and will definitely go back again by Stephen B.
