Very nice camping ground! Clean toilets and a lot of places to camp! The beach has a beautiful view but there is a lot of seaweed!

Good place for an overnight stop. Close to the beach however not a great place for swimming as it’s very shallow and theres a lot of seaweed. Drinking water, rubbish disposal, bbqs and flushable toilets on site.

I saw on the website that it’s closed?? Is it still closed or open now.???

It was closed when I visited yesterday, unsure if they are planning on reopening it. by Blair R.

Answer:

It is under going renovations, adding power and water to each site, upgrading the surface (gets very boggy in the rain). I don't know the date for reopening but the intention is before summer. I'll ask a local to see if I can get an estimate of reopening. It will cost once it opens, from memory $6 pn with power/water by Belinda K.

I was there this time last year Graeme and there was plenty of room.. it’s quiet spacious so it’s possible.. if not, there is also another spot further up the road as well as long as you don’t have a tent. by Melissa T.
