Free campsite - toliets but no showers. Nice open grassy campsite, although small in size but quiet. Close to beach and adjacent to creek/lagoon. Ground was wet and soggy when staying. No designated fire pits but some people had fires.

This is a great spot! Need to be set up for free camping but there is a drop toilet. The mouth of the river is a great sport for kids to swim in warmer months.

Yes you can, we’ve swam with our kids in the mouth of the river and also the ocean. I would only swim in the ocean if a confident ocean swimmer - can be rough and unpredictable by Tiana R.

We have just stopped past and it was pretty busy; too full for a caravan but you could find a spot for a tent. Hope you found somewhere for New Years! by Marton B.
