$8 a night and you get riverside camping, a short walk to the surf beach and some real clean drop toilets. Beautiful place to camp cannot recommend enough

This is not free. $8 a night, $30 a week. Toilet is cleaned and stocked up regularly, so is the water tank (not drinking water). Beautiful by the river camping, lots of birds.

Yes you can, we’ve swam with our kids in the mouth of the river and also the ocean. I would only swim in the ocean if a confident ocean swimmer - can be rough and unpredictable by Tiana R.

We have just stopped past and it was pretty busy; too full for a caravan but you could find a spot for a tent. Hope you found somewhere for New Years! by Marton B.
