Great camp-site. Booked online and it was a great drive once you pass Sydney traffic. $8 car entry fee per day. Campground is nice, and facilities are very well maintained with Rangers doing routine... Read more

The campground itself is unspectacular, but it's big, so hasn't been crowded when I've been there in November (2 years running). You can have fires. The Waterville nearby is cold all year round but it's great for swimming. You can go for a walk up the hill and there's a lookout back over Sydney. There's also an undercover area so if the weather is bad you can stay dry. Plus for larger groups there is a kitchen with a fridge.

Question:

Do we still have to pay if we are just going here for picnic and bonfire?

Answer:

Yes if you are driving in. According to the National Parks website it costs $8 per vehicle per day. The park has pay and display machines that accept both coin and card. If you have an annual pass on your car then no additional fee is required. by Benny C.
