We stayed a weekend at the Redgum section of Euroka, which turned out to be a great choice. The site was quiet and peaceful, with a short walk to a very well-kept drop toilet. Each campsite had a well-maintained fire pit, and the area overall felt tidy and looked after. We were three families with kids ranging from months old to infants school. The kids had a blast and were easily able to run around the site while staying within eyesight. One of the highlights was the sensational morning birdsong, which really added to the bush atmosphere. We also had a curious wombat wander through one evening, which was a memorable bonus. Do watch out for the kookaburras though – they are brazen, fearless, and always on the hunt for food. Despite staying during extremely heavy winds, the Redgum section was well protected — barely a breeze reached ground level, which made for a comfortable night. A couple of things to note for those considering other sections: the Nioka section is on a hill, and virtually every tent or swag spot there looked to be on a slope. Also, parking is fenced off from the campsites, so if you’re camping with a rooftop tent, van, or trailer, it may not be the best fit. Nearby, there are a handful of lookouts and exploratory walks. Some are close to the campsites, while others are a short drive or a hilly walk to get to. The weir is always under water, but only shallow in good conditions. However, note that access is often closed during or after rain, so it’s worth checking the Parks website for updates before visiting. Finally, the drive in includes a handful of hairpin turns on steep inclines, but it is manageable in a standard vehicle — no 4WD required. We'll definitely be back.

Easy to access, not really crowded. There is toilet and garbage bin. But no fresh water. So bring enough fresh water to drink and wash. And also can swim in blue pool in blue mountains national park,... Read more
One of the best campsites i have visited. Separated into 5 different camp grounds, each with their own drop toilet. A short 10 min drive to jellybean pool. Plenty of fire pits and tables. Only one hour from Sydney, absolutely love this place
Great campsite! Didn’t have drinking water, showers or flushable toilets but a really comfortable place to camp.
