Middle of school holidays in July and I was surprised to be the only one here it was a great spot with a playground for kids BBQ area and a sink to wash up, about 20 meters from the river where I walked to the ocean and had a great views

This is a great campsite next to a beautiful beach and river. The location allows easy travel to everywhere on Kangaroo island. Dog friendly. General store nearby with basics. Come prepared and with drinking water. Make sure to bring a metal hammer/mallet if you have pegs. The ground is very firm and takes some time to hammer the pegs in.
