Basic campsite with powered and unpowered spots you pay for via a machine. $17 for unpowered, you can pay with card. It was pretty busy, we visited during school summer holidays, lots of families and kids running around so bear that in mind if you wanted a quiet secluded spot this isn’t it! There are 2 unisex drop toilets which were clean, and a bbq area with a sink for washing. Water is not suitable for drinking. There are also 2 shower blocks (male/female) which you pay with a $2 coin for 5 mins of hot water. The campsite is situated just off the beach access it via a path & short walk. If you were planning on camping with a tent the ground is pretty rocky so you would need a drill or a strong mallet to put pegs in securely. We only stayed for one night and it had all the basics we needed. Vivonne general store is a 5 min drive away. Lots of similar campsites like this on the island so if it’s full when you arrive there are other options.

Spacious campsite with kids facilities. BBQ area is well equipped. Nearby Vivivone bay general store sells very good burger. Although every day whiting burger is amazing but I like the lamb burger after trying both. Very friendly staff.

Pleasant, somewhat sheltered from the wind, good shelter from sun and rain for meals and cooking. The beach and river are the reason to stay here. Camp spots are close quarters. There are only 2 showers, men’s/women’s. Water is not potable... If you are in a campervan, there are some free overnight spots east side of the river along the road next to the beach. ;)

The campsite it's rather small and there are many campervans. So it kind of give you a feeling of being squeezed in. Better turn up before 5pm otherwise you might not get a spot. We have been here on the weekend so maybe it was only packed as locals stay here too. Toilets a little smelly, showers were clean and cost $2 for 5mins of hot water. Better have a $2 coin with you 😏 Kitchen area with BBQ was clean. Just drive in and look for your spot and pay at the pay machine. Unpowered site $17, powered site $27.
