This is a stunning location, rustic with camp kitchen with everything you could possibly need, with a covered sitting area with table and sits, television, books to read and DVDs.Also BBQ areas. The reception area has some basic needs, also a fridge with their own meat to purchase, the steaks were delicious and juicy. There is also a special Van every mort for special coffee hot chocolate etc.,All facilities are super clean.Tom an Jai who run the camp site, are friendly and helpful, also the staff are friendly as well, creating a positive vib to the whole place. There are 2 walking trail, one the Spear Creek Trail is 8-6 return and considered moderate, quite narrow threw the gorge at times and some verandah type rocks to climb over. The Deep Spear Creek is more challenging, therefore as a senior lady the distance I went was short. Wild goats can be seen most days, Kangaroo's and sleepy lizards on warm days,a few rabbits I also see.Plenty of Birdlife. The campsites are a good size,it you wish a premium area is also available with very large space, some have power others do not.Whilst I was there it was extremely windy overnight 3 nights and sunny days. The Rangers are glorious with beautiful sunsets and a special log to sit and watch.Highly recommend this magic place
