Secluded spot for vans/tents. Water available, a couple of BBQs and a covered up seating area. A toilet available too. Decent campsite - strong smell of fish / seaweed and a bit isolated but overall an excellent spot!

I saw on the website that it’s closed?? Is it still closed or open now.???

It was closed when I visited yesterday, unsure if they are planning on reopening it. by Blair R.

Answer:

It is under going renovations, adding power and water to each site, upgrading the surface (gets very boggy in the rain). I don't know the date for reopening but the intention is before summer. I'll ask a local to see if I can get an estimate of reopening. It will cost once it opens, from memory $6 pn with power/water by Belinda K.

Is there any room at the moment there?

I was there this time last year Graeme and there was plenty of room.. it’s quiet spacious so it’s possible.. if not, there is also another spot further up the road as well as long as you don’t have a tent. by Melissa T.
