Everything is clean especially bathrooms. I used unpowered campsite which was $15.
Friendly service, sites are quiet small don’t expect to be able to put out your awning. This is a very busy caravan park during tourist season, so you need to expect noise and wait times to use the facilities. Showers are 20c for 3 minutes. The swimming pool is great for kids and completely undercover, the games room has seen better days. Walking distance to town, lookouts and some museums. The showers towards the front of the park are fabulous new and clean with great water pressure. If you see a problem speak to staff they try hard to please.
This park has caravans and tents jammed in like sardines in a tin it is ridiculous given the value of the land in Cooper Pedy There are two toilet blocks one new one old and there are not enough toilets to accomodate the amount of people staying here as there are queues in the men’s toilets and showers in the new block at times as the old toilet facilities are disgusting and the majority won’t use them Rubbish bins are overflowing every day with rubbish put beside the bins as they are always full as there are not enough rubbish bins in the camp for the amount of people staying here We are at the bottom of the camp by the old toilet block and there is constantly a distinct sewerage smell .We won’t be back and would not recommend this place
