It’s open and a great place to stop. Free camping and clean showers including hot waster for $1. Not far from town
Currently closed.
Great spot just 30 minutes out of the center of cairns, we stayed here a couple times during our stay in cairns. It’s a very big place so don’t stress about getting here early, plenty of room. New facilities but no drinking water, super sad area right off the motorway, I would highly recommend it.
Beautiful little spot, close to the highway but barely any road noise. Plenty of space when we rocked up pretty late at night. Decent amenities but no drinking water that I could see. Suitable for tents, campers and rooftop tents.
