This is a great area to camp in. Doug the owner is lovely and so knowledgeable about the ecology and the greater area surrounding his home. The tidal creek is good for swimming, fishing and crabbing. Dolphins are also seen there. Love this place. The road in is quite corrugated and only open in dry weather as it’s impassable in the wet.

Closed at the moment unfortunately! Looked like a great place to stay, came down the road to a locked gate, hopefully next time we're in the area it's back open!

Apparently it’s illegal to fish here does that include everywhere or just certain spots?
In the Wininowie Conservation Park, fishing is generally allowed in most areas, particularly within General Managed Use Zones and Habitat Protection Zones. However, fishing and the taking of plants and animals are prohibited in Sanctuary Zones.
