Arrived here just after peak period of Christmas and New Years and found this to be good timing as it’s quietened down a lot again likely before getting busy again for Australia Day in a few weeks. We left the dog behind this time and that’s why we camped in this site. Unfortunately as this campsites no dogs allowed others ignored it and brought their dog anyway. (Doesn’t bother me as a dog owner, but it’s annoying when you follow rules others ignore) They have what appears to be a brand new drop toilet block here that was very clean, didn’t smell and was well stocked with toilet paper. As alluded to by myself and others on some of the surrounding sites it’s only a short trip into golden beach where you’re able to get a 5 min shower for 4 dollars in 2$ coins, which is a nicety as there is a lot of black sand about and as much as you try to stay clean it’ll get you sooner or later. This site has good access to camper trailers and caravans and there were many present during our stay. Bring your own fire wood and be safe. Thoroughly recommend this site.
