As close to the beach camping as you can get without sleeping on the beach, Tucked over the other side of the dunes and somewhat sheltered from the elements. A number of these sites are dog friendly and that was the draw for us coming here. We passed this area on a long weekend. Forget it!! Despite all of the space a load of people turn up with MASSIVE rigs and set up fences and all sorts to take up all the space, so be warned. Other times however it can be virtually dead. There are no toilets at the campsite and if you need amenities you will have to go to Golden beach and use the pay facilities near the general store/ kiosk. However they are to an adequate standard and the warm shower after a few days is worth the fee.
