For a more adventurous experience, you can go spotlighting at night to see possums and wombats, or spot a platypus! The nearby town of Berrima is also worth a visit. A great spot for a couple of nights!

Beautiful free camping site surrounded by pine trees with lots of wildlife. No running water or rubbish bins, but campfires are allowed and drop toilet available. Spot kangaroos and wombats crossing the roads, especially at night and early morning. Just a 2-hour drive from Sydney and only a 5-minute drive from the freeway, but you can only just hear the cars when everything is quiet. Campsite is well maintained and not completely flat but still workable. Great spot for tents, RVs and caravans.
