Absolute gem of a campsite. Be aware that this place is rustic, no showers but does have 2 very well kept compost/drop toilets. It’s a pack in/packout spot, so take your trash with you when you leave. No fee to camp here and first in first served. It’s just a very beautiful area surrounded by tall eucalyptus and plenty of grass on the ground. Dog friendly and fire rings in some spots provided. The drive in can be super daunting for non experienced “rough” road driving. I wouldn’t suggest taking the drive when weather is bad and you don’t have a 4x4. Great place and can’t wait to visit again.

Question:

Is this camp site 2WD accessible?

Answer:

Road in is a bit rough, I’ve gone with a 2wd multiple times. Only had issues once after rain. If rain is on the forecast I’d say stay clear otherwise go for it but take it slow! by James W.
