Wyaga Intersection Rest Area

It’s a blink and you’ll miss it rest area on the left as you go north or on the right as you’re headed south. Long drop dunny perched high on a platform but with ramp access, hand basin to wash up after. A couple of sturdy concrete picnic tables under a generous sized shaded area in the middle. With a gravity fed (non potable) water tank to rinse off your dishes or whatever, just give them a wipe over with a Dettol cloth after to kill anything that was in the water type situation. Local government ordinance allow a couple of nights rest here but really you’d only stop for 1. Plenty of lay down area, almost all sealed and flat level.. Truckies use this one frequently on their “back road” runs so make sure you leave room for them. Could definitely use a tidying up but all in all a pretty decent stop.
