Nice spot along the river, max 7 day stay as it's conservation land. Plenty of accessible bins but no other facilities. Can get pretty busy especially on weekends, but available spots are all fairly spaced out. River can get a bit rough when boats are coming back and forth but nothing major. Pet friendly and free sight which is a bonus, just remember to be fully self contained as council do come through for maintenance/bin empties. Public toilet and boat ramp about 1km away at Hettners Landing. Very nice stay overall :)

easily accessible with any car, camping is right on the river with awesome views. there aren’t specifically allocated camping sites and there are bins on the site, and no drinking water. you don’t need to book. there’s a boat ramp nearby and fires, dogs and swimming are allowed. on weekends and school holidays it does get pretty packed , so best to go when it’s not holiday season. there are almost always dogs there, so don’t bring an antisocial pup and people tend to leave rubbish behind, so tidy up behind you!

Must be fully self-contained the times i have been there i have had no problems except for when it rained then the ground gets very slippery

Took our two young children 6 months and 2 years by the river . It was very quiet , other campers where about but spread out . Everyone was very friendly and was just enjoying relaxing by the river.... Read more
