This was a planned stop to allow clean up and rock climbing. There are 9 powered sites and when arrived there 3 left. Caretaker was so helpful. Brand new families and the best camp kitchen we have ever seen. Got set up and visited the Boodalin soak, and the Edna May mine site lookout. Next day left early to climb Baladjie rock. This was then hardest climb to sate but wonderful. See separate review. $20 per night for this gem of a CP. Museum is a must and the community shop is great value. We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Westonia Tavern. The special on Monday was burger, chips and a pint for $12. We had meal off the menu of salmon and snapper but all meals were of a good size and excellent value. Staff friendly and accepting of everyone. Recommend a night or two in this great little town half way between Perth and Kalgoorlie.
