Don’t get me wrong it’s not a bad place to stay and maybe my opinion will differ to others but the camping/caravanning style is not the best. People can block you in if it gets busy, the sign states that you park in a line and people park around you - we were fortunate to be alone but during the busy season I see this as a potential flaw. There’s actually heaps of room around here and if they made some locations for private parking with your own fire pit I would say that this would be 4 or 5 star. It’s frequented by bike riders (bicycles) and they seem to be pretty friendly and from the local towns/cities near by. The fire pits are pretty good but communal, if you want a private fire you’ll need to have a large group with you to push everyone away. Just kidding. There’s plenty of Kangaroos and no traffic to be heard - if it’s a little off the beaten track that you want or need and you don’t mind to be boxed in I’d say this is a pretty decent spot.
