Attempted to visit 3 weeks after May 2025 floods, and despite no rain since, I didn’t attempt the last river crossing in my Hyundai i30. Found a nice campsite close by. 4WD recommended, necessary when wet. Can be done in a 2WD when dry. Beautiful area.

Such a beautiful and well maintained camp ground. Lovely grassy sites with plenty of shade. Sites 1 - 8 and 11-13 have direct access to the river. The toilets were clean. We were the only people sta... Read more

Extremely quiet. The river is only a few metres from the camp ground and is lovely for swimming
