Upper Yarra Reservoir is fantastic, easily accessed by any vehicle campsites are vast and sprawling with no designated “sites” you can set up where you like and there’s enough room your closest neighbours won’t bother you. Water is available with Flushing toilets and even an ice fridge $3 a bag. The start of the Yarra runs though the park and is perfect to cool off in on a hot day. The park is being closed for 2 years from June/July 2019 but if you’re looking for somewhere before then worth a look.
