Went just before Easter and was empty, had the beach to ourselves. Went with my wife, 6month old and 2.5 year old. Was great for kids, pretty civilised camping for noobies with showers and a small convenience store for all things. We mainly stocked up on ice for the esky and coffee in the mornings.

Wilson's prom is gorgeous, tidal river campsite is pricey for what it is. If you want to stay during summer peak periods, you must enter a ballot held 6 months before.

This place is AWESOME heaps of animals around, wombats, kangaroos etc Bit windy but altogether great! Lots of walks all different levels
