Stunning campground, it was so peaceful and quiet even with 7 others at the campground. I would recommend getting here early on public holiday or weekends as I gets very busy. It’s right down the road from the public rock pools so there were cars coming and going but not late or too early. It has really nice bathrooms but no hot water for the showers (we enjoyed the cold shower in the summer) there are two friendly ducks and a rooster that doesn’t know when the right time to crow is 😂 it would wake us up (we were in a tent) at 3 in the morning and then again at sun rise. There is also a peacock that likes to hang about the area. You really feel like you’re in the middle of nature here, it was super safe as it was a government owned campground. Tenting is allowed, the signs that say no tenting just mean do not tent past the poles.
Amazing and clean campground few minutes walk to rock pools.
