Excellent spot for all types of camping. We Have personally stayed here a couple of times in a swag, tent and now will be trying the rooftop tent out tomorrow night! There is a great little restroom with a window, locking door, sink and a flushing toilet! All sites are fairly close and some are right next to it. There is a toilet dump stop to empty those porta potties etc. There are bins located on site which is nice. The views of the river and adjacent cliffs are amazing and with such tranquility of nature surrounding the site with the often sighting of emus and kangaroo's. If you are wanting to camp right on the river I would suggest having solid pegs and a decent steel hammer as the ground can be very hard to drive pegs into. A short ride across the ferry will get you to the Swan reach town centre where you can find some small shops for essential items, a takeaway shop and a pub. All in all highly recommend!

Good stop for a night or two, Easy walk to ferry and pub. Shame about the long term camps running their grey water into the river

Lovely spot on river. Best for caravans and motorhomes. Ground sandy not grassy. Some shade. Fire pits. Toilet and bins available. Popular just over ferry, few spots but need to get in early. Pub and shops over ferry, east walk as foot passengers. Native miner birds aggressive re food trying to take food off plates. Quieter spot on river, not too many boats to disturb tranquility.
