Quiet, close to river, 10-20 tent sites, clean compost toilet, excellent bike path all way to bright off highway, access off main rd along dirt rd

Tried to camp here recently but the area was packed with far more campers than the campground was designed for making it look fairly squalid. Badly need proper management as it sadly is suffering the fate of many good free sites of being overused and abused.

Nice little campsite, 15 mins away from bright but not too busy, managed to find a decent spot at 6pm the day before nye

Great spot just 10/15mins drive from Bright. Fire pits with cooking trays/hooks - BYO wood. Drop toilets - Very clean + large supply of hand sanitizer available when we went. BYO loo paper. Plenty of sites - quiet when we went in winter - very cold at night. Sites next to river and also further back - was better in July as river was super flooded. Some wildlife. Dog friendly. Just off Great Alpine Road but minimal traffic noise.
