Was okay place to camp but while we were there we were right next to construction which woke us up very early and went on all day which was very loud. Park amenities were great along with the lake right there which was beautiful, unfortunately I don’t see why I should pay $40 a night to be woken up abruptly next to a construction site that’s all

By no means the most beautiful campsite but it does well for what it says on the packet (so to speak), ie good clean safe family vibe. We are a young couple so not exactly our preferred scene but can’t hold that against it as we could see that when we booked, hence the 5 stars. Staff were friendly and the bathrooms and kitchen area were the cleanest I’ve seen in the camp world. Didn’t feel like I was going to catch a fungal foot infection for once. Had to wait for showers though - not quite enough to go around. Pretty good location - on the lake (though sadly no lake view for the tent folk like us). Housing estate going up next door which is a shame. Happy camping!

Fantastic campground. Level, flat and large sites. Hugh kitchen for everyone to use. Very clean toilets. Staff were amazingly friendly. Sunsets over the lake were spectacular.
