A nice little quiet campsite with toilets. We stopped there at 1am and left at around 8am so didn’t spend much time there but easy to find behind the pub and has all the information you need about the site on a big stop sign on the driveway (eg. where to park, where toilets are etc) It’s $2 a person or $5 for a family (January 2024) Only thing was we didn’t see the showers that were supposed to be there (we may have just missed them) did find the cold shower near the toilets which is a shower head on a garden hose so you don’t have to go without. Will definitely stop there again 👍
The campground is very clean and very quiet thanks to Len, a volunteer that keeps clean the amenities. There is a small donation of $2 per adults which helps Len to keep clean the camp. You can also fill up your water tank if needed and have cold shower or a hot shower for a small fee too. Len is very kind and offered us a cup of coffee before we go. If you’re around Rockhampton go there
