This is a great park. It’s not close to the beach, but they have large grassy sites, super clean bathrooms, even though they are older, and really lovey people who run it.
We didn’t enjoy our time here. It was wet, dark, dindgy and depressing, and situated in the industrial part of town. The plus was that the staff were friendly and accommodating, and they did fit us in when the rest of Esperance was full. The pool was being filled in while we were there and there are several permanent residents. The vibe was not helped by the unseasonal rain, and the shutting of the the Nullarbor making town super busy. Again, the extra charges for kids are out of control in this region. Even the Showgrounds overflow wanted $80/ night from us!
