Thank you Peterborough for a safe overnight stop. Spend up in town and put your receipts in the box. Council are trying to decide if the free camp is bringing money to the town
Neat caravan park with good facilities. Grassy area for tents, caravan sites bare stoney ground but good large sites. Price was very reasonable compared to some caravan parks.
Stayed in the RV Park for 3 days while exploring the area. It's an easy walk to the Main Street. No facilities but only a short distance away. Need to collect all used water, so need to be self efficient. The town has very friendly people, only willing to help. Info centre great and a must do is the 2 steam tours. Motorcycle museum was great, not just bikes, all sorts of stuff. Love the scented roses down the main street. And you must give Bob (the Train Drivers dog) a pat. He's a statue. Loved the town.
