Just so easy. Got in around 6 and picked out a nice clear space. The trucks must have known about the spot and gave a couple of friendly blasts at around 10pm but otherwise a fairly quiet night despite being on the road. Woke up and discovered the swimming hole complete with diving board which was a fresh way to start the day. 9/10 would pan again.

Spacious campsite by the road. We arrived at 5pm and had our pick of the spots. We could hear the trucks and noise from the road. The power pole was also buzzing into the night. We had earplugs, so this didn’t bother us. Not particularly pretty, but has clean (flushing!) toilets and undercover cooking areas. It’s a good one-night stop over for all vehicle/camping types. Nearby is a general store which only stocks snacks (chocolates, milk, chips) and a hotel which does dinner from 6-8pm. It is a single-night stay on the way to somewhere.

Very nice free camp, good toilet, bbq, and playground facilities. Lots of green grass to pitch a tent. Dogs allowed. Only gave 4 stars as the traffic noise is loud at night.

We just pulled in. Don’t know if you can book. Can be quite busy but a lot of people use it just overnight. If you don’t get a good site one night, shift when most leave the next day. by Kaye S.
