Oatlands is a historic village, renovated old building and very well maintained street just adding to the experience. The campsite consists of two parts: a smaller parking place by the lake and a larger area above the carpark on the hill. The lake looks like a swamp with overgrown vegetation. The campsite is perfect for a stopover night, clean toilet facilities and with playground attached to the campground. I would not go with tent, partially because of the wind which is ongoing and sometimes gastly. In brief: convenient overnight option.
