NRMA Merimbula Beach Holiday Resort

We recently stayed at this caravan park and overall had a really enjoyable experience, especially as a family with kids. The park is kid-friendly, which made our stay so much easier with activities for the kids. The jumping pillow was a huge hit, and there were a few additional crafting activities running throughout the day (including FOC) - particularly great during the school holidays. The location is also a big plus, being close to town and within easy reach of the beach. Our site was spacious, giving us plenty of room to spread out, and the amenities were clean, modern, and well maintained. The pool area was lovely, although it would have been even better if it was heated. There were a few downsides worth noting. Our site wasn’t slabbed or synthetic and was quite worn, which meant it turned into dirt and mud in places. The water park was advised as heated, but unfortunately it wasn’t during our stay. The roads around the park could also use some attention - there were quite a few potholes, and the speed humps were very large and frequent, making it difficult for kids to ride scooters around safely. Overall, it’s a great spot for families, especially during holiday periods, with just a few areas that could be improved to make the experience even better.

Spotless amenities. No pesky gates or codes but not obviously open to public foot traffic. Beautiful location which is deceiving as you need to walk down the hill or book an ocean view unit to truly appreciate it as park is safely devoid of trees. Be careful parking - we had to move van one foot. Nice cafe van down the hill if you are half fit.

Great park. Best en-suite ever. Free Wi-Fi did not work.

This is a great park. The beach is a short walk. Properly heated water park with slide. Kids loved it. Jumping pillow, a nice bbq area next to the water park. The villas are modern and spacious. Do your homework on which villa you book. There are lots of options. Some have truely awesome views.
