A great campsite for a weekend break. It’s a bit of a drive in and you really do need an AWD or high clearance vehicle - particularly if it has been raining. Easy access to two local beaches and plenty of walking tracks. Lots of wildlife around, we saw possums, kangaroos, goannas etc. It is a remote campsite, so there are no showers, water and only very basic, unserviced facilities so bring everything you need.

First time off road camper. I do now have a troopy would this be an easy drive in for a beginner?

Answer:

We drove in in Feb on a day trip visit - a bit bumpy for our 2wd SUV but we saw a Kombi nearly there. A couple of places where you have to stop to let the other car past - hope this helps by Anycamper
