Arrived at 11am Saturday and found a nice large flat spot to set up camp. It is quite a busy little spot and you are very close to your site neighbours, it’s difficult to find any secluded spots or distance yourself from other people. The campground is surrounded by lovely tall trees and ferns, and a flowing river which you can hear from your tent at night (if the noisemakers ever go to bed..). Limited facilities, just a few drop toilets and some fire pits and picnic tables. No phone reception. Dogs allowed and most were well contained and on leashes. Things to note - Busy and noisy - It was Saturday night and there were a few groups making noise to early hours, playing music and radio whilst others trying to sleep. Some inconsiderate campers left their rubbish behind in their fire pit. A few bad eggs really spoilt it, I couldn’t sleep till almost 2am when the music finally went off. Wasps - loads of European wasps about, but I didn’t hear of anyone getting stung BYO - bring your own water, firewood and toilet paper. Take your rubbish home with you.
