Thanks for your reply. Lots to stay in, and lots to do from Mt Barney Lodge. Just to give a little more detail about our access - we do have 3.5 km of dirt road, with 2 single-lane creek crossings. Having said that we get small cars, coaches, water trucks and vans of all types here all the time. We just advise that you drive to the conditions of the road, and in most cases this just means keeping your speed down for that short portion of the trip.
