This place is a good place to stay and is still opened I’ve seen posts saying it’s closed but it’s not
Bookings essential - no bookings are taken after 6pm. Basic camping area with 10 powered sites and 10 unpowered sites. Access is to amenities is via a pin code received from Management. All sites are large. Stay hooked up. Pet friendly on leads. NO FIRES. NO cash payment. 60 day maximum stay. Free Dump point access without booking.
We stayed here for a single night heading further north. We had easy communication via online booking and the codes for the ground and bathroom facilities were sent via text. We did arrive once it was already dark and as first timers there it was a little tricky finding a site as it appears it’s a first in best dressed situation with no allocated sites. In hindsight it would be ideal to arrive in daylight to find an appropriate site. Bathroom facilities were tidy and served their purpose. Would stay again if needing to stop while passing through.
Stayed here 1 night for $20 unpowered. Booking online was easy with a prompt reply from a very friendly gent who smsed us codes for showers. Heaps of room to select a site. Toilets were clean. Showers were separate and immaculately clean and modern. Had outside sink with hot water for dishes. Great value camp and would definitely stay again.
