If you like basic, simple, dry bush, this is the site for you. As you enter onto the site from Burnt Clay Road there's not really a spot to camp, follow the track 1km in & on the right hand side there is a good clearing on the river bank. My visit early December, very dry, wouldn't use camp fire. Flies & ants in their usual capacity, however, March flies already & the odd cockatoo. Some very slow moving water in the river, don't recommend swimming or drinking even though at 5pm its currently 38 degrees. Nice quiet spot, I would revisit but not everyone's ideal spot.
