The road in is dirt and very pot hole heavy, but I get my MX-5 out there no problem. Just be aware, the grass can be very slushy in places so check before you drive out onto it, I definitly didn't nearly get stuck. I will be back as it's a great spot for small to large groups.

Visited this site mid week early January - plenty of space and around 25 camps set up. Some seemed to be long stay/ semi permanent. Nice and quiet except for multiple types of birds. Undulating grassy area with shade options from native trees. Well maintained drop toilets and bins provided. No walks in the surrounding area except on forest roads open to traffic.
