Absolutely amazing views - could not fault this free campsite!!! Allows pets and must be in a RV or caravan as no tents allowed. Lots and lots of space. Has a boat ramp and lots of fishing spots. Toilets and picnic tables available as well. Would recommend this to everyone!!

Loved the overnight stay. Would be best to show up before dark so you can pick a nice spot with a view. We stayed close to the road but that didn’t bother us at all. Dogs allowed on leash. Nice long boat ramp. Clean toilets and barbecues. Nice walk around.

Ludlows Reserve was going to be my campsite last night, but I ended up using Plan B, which was the Boyd's Bridge Reserve about 20km away. Reason being there are signs at Ludlows indicating the site is only open to self-contained RVs. Looks perfect if you are travelling in one of the aforementioned RVs, although at the time of my visit (early July 2018) the toilet block was closed for renovation. It's relativel close to the water and there is a boat ramp to if you want to go for a kayak or take out that tinnie strapped to the top of your trailer. Might even catch yourself a feed of redfin or yellow belly. If you're in a hire camper van or if you're using a tent, then camp elsewhere unless you want to moved on by a local council ranger. Same goes for the other campsites on that side of the lake.

Question:

Can you stay here with a caravan??

Answer:

So long as you are self contained (water, toilet and power) there is heaps of room for caravans and motorhomes. Tents are not permitted. There is a well maintained toilet block. by Peter S.
