Such a lovely spot down near the beach- plenty of unmarked sites and a number of toilets around. We arrived in late and the reception was closed but came back in the morning to pay- no issues.

We had planned to camp on the beach but with the wind forecast we opted to stay in the main campground for a little more protection. Despite being school holidays there were still a good range of spot... Read more

Good base camp to explore Kalbarri and National Park. $15 per night kids free. Can drive on the beach but air down before you do. Long drop toilets available and rubbish bins. Picnic shelters and fire pits at most sites. No alloted sites, drive in and pick a spot that suites you. Caretaker onsite.

Question:

Just wondering what the tracks are like driving in and out... 4x4 recommended? and how intense is the off roading? Thanks!!

Answer:

You can access the main campground in 2WD but just be careful of some of the offshoots that might be soft. You definitely need 4WD to access the beach camping though. by Off The Trax

Question:

Hi. Are we able to get a 20ft semi off-road caravan onto the beach camping sites? Cheers Shaun

Answer:

It all depends on driver ability but even then we wouldn't recommend it as the sand was soft when we were there. It may pay also to contact with the council if they still run it. While we were there the campground was being taken over by the local Aboriginal group. Hope this was helpful. by Alicia P.
