Great campsite with very friendly caretakers! The views over the lake are beautiful, it’s super flexible as you’re able to pick a spot where you like. There is a basic toilet/shower block (hot shower!) and also a wash up area with hot water, bbqs and tables under cover. All of this is very clean! The boat ramp is good - very long as the water is so low at the moment. Apparently the lake is stocked with bass, perch and catfish, but either they’re out of stock or we’re crap fishermen cos we didn’t get one nibble 😂 Very accessible, the road out there from Singleton is an easy drive. Other notes, it’s quite difficult to find a flat spot for a tent, and if you want to be by the water you’ll likely be sloped or around old low tide mud. It’s beautiful up the top of the hill tho, but the wind did pick up a lot while we were there and it’s quite exposed. Also note there is no cell service out here.
