Free camping about 15 minute drive from Halls Gap and the Grampians. Heaps of space and not busy at all over January (Plantation was packed!). This campground is the one with toilets and is bigger than the others but it was too windy while we were down there so we went on to Diggers Rest which was more protected. My partner got bitten by an ant once in the 7 days we were there (despite them being everywhere). Cold water soaked pressure bandage and antihistamine worked well to cure the pain and itch. They mostly keep to themselves though so we were probably unlucky.
