Beachside scrub with well structured sires offering privacy & coastal scrub setting. Thankyou Break o Day Council for basic camping with clean toilets without the pit toilet odours. Take your own toilet paper. Uncovered. Family friendly & dogs allowed in camp & on the beach. Dogs means no wildlife. The wallabies & possums are in National parks. FREE CAMPING. Plenty of sites but can fill up in school holidays. If you like the roar of the sea at night this is a place for you. Camp fires permitted.
Great location a short drive out of Bicheno! Not crazy busy during TAS school holidays and, as others have said, if you go to the south end there are numerous single vehicle spots off the side of the road. The lagoons hold fish as well so take the rod! We were in a motorhome and access was all good.
Enjoyed driving through seeing all the quiet Campers! We were delighted to set up here for Free. Toilets too!
Great spot, a lot of open space and still a few sites among the trees if you want some privacy. Don't forget your surf rod for a fish on the beach and kayak for a paddle in the lagoon.
