Bogan party central. Poorly maintained with toilet paper, dump waste, used sanitary products, general rubbish in the bush areas. Loud music/revellers till all hours. Also had people rudely camp (within same site, within a metre of us) at 10.30pm and proceeded to party with rave music till 4am!

Camp sites were clean and toilets on site were long drops but not bad for a free site. Nice walks nearby but being free did attract a wide variety of campers. One night had teens for a bushdoof and seemed like a family had been living there (not one to pass judgement, we’ve all come across hard times) but shouting and screaming at each other domestic violent and drug abuse didn’t make it the best experience. Suppose the risk on a free camp site

Question:

Is fire on the ground allowed?

Answer:

The rules are you should dig a 6” trench or something but nobody does. A park ranger pulled up for a chat with me when I’d just lit a fire on the ground there with my nephews. I thought I was in trouble but he was just being friendly and couldn’t care less. by Joel B.
