The Morwell River road is stunning. After about 5km down the road there is the first campsite and then about 5 more as you keep going down the road. Ours was the second. Easy camper van access and right next to the flowing river, which was an amazing sound to fall asleep to. I would bring a whipper snipper next time to clear some more grass area but it was pretty perfect. Meant to just be a stopover but ended up staying another night to explore the area! Was a bit busy for New Years but there were spots still free to set up if anyone needed. No facilities but it didn’t fuss us. Definitely coming back :)

Camp off side of road. Access to the Morwell River for fishing. No facilities, when I went it was quite overgrown and had a bit of rubbish around.

Lovely short 5km drive down Morwell River Rd. Lots of cow dung and not much shade during the day. Is a good spot to stop over.
