Good site with awesome river. Parking is a few hundred meters from the campsites so you have to lug your gear in which isn’t ideal to the car camper

Great camping right on the river! Google maps has this spot pinned as the Trawool Wildlife Reserve Camp Ground (walk in). Have to lug camp gear 100m or so (spot dependant) but the river bank is beau... Read more

Why is it fenced off so that you can’t get close to a campsite due to being fenced off ?

Answer:

Too many vehicles were tearing up the place and or getting stuck so parks Vic put a lock on the gate. Obvious negative of this is carrying your stuff a fair decent way but on the plus side it isn’t getting torn up or choked up with vehicles anymore. by Alex L.
